Capstone

The Graduate Certificate in Global Health Nursing Capstone requirement is a 3-credit (90 hour) Independent Study project required to complete the Certificate and is separate from one’s DNP project or doctoral dissertation. Students must develop a dissemination-style poster to showcase at CGHN’s annual year-end celebration in Spring Quarter prior to graduation.

Students graduating during other quarters may identify another UW-SON event to showcase their poster or choose to attend the Spring year-end celebration following graduation. Capstone projects can be completed through summer study abroad programs.

If students choose to participate in study abroad opportunities, CGHN will connect students with existing pre-departure orientations and resources.
