The Seattle Children’s PICU team was awarded Seattle Children’s Preceptor of the Quarter for APPs. Among the providers awarded are two School of Nursing faculty, Lena Oliveros and Amy Howells, and alumni John Lee.
Mariana Alvina dos Santos, professor at Federal University of Mato Gross do Sula and a previous UW School of Nursing visiting scholar from Brazil, presented her exciting work, “Men’s health assessment: Sleep quality, sexual function and quality of life” at the UW School of Nursing on February 13th (pictured on the left).

Jerusha Mogaka, PhD student, received a New Investigator Scholarship to attend the 2023 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections.
