  • de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging 2025-2026 scholar Suah Park was named the UW School of Nursing 2026 Magnuson Scholar!
  • Former center predoctoral scholar and PhD in Nursing Science Graduate Sarah McKiddy was selected to be the represent the UW School of Nursing at commencement as the school’s banner carrier.

    • Mentored by Dr. Oleg Zaslavsky, Inthira Roopsawang, PhD a former de Tornyay Scholar and a UW School of Nursing 2019 alum, from Mahidol University, Bangkok, is completing post-doctoral training at the UW School of Nursing.
    • Paulia Pergoł-Metko, a PhD in Nursing Science candidate from the Medical University of Warsaw, is a visiting scholar, attending classes, learning about the healthcare in the U.S.. She is presenting a talk on nursing perspectives in partnership with the UW Polish Studies Endowment Committee.
    • Yanisha Duangduen, a visiting scholar from Thailand, presented her work at the UW School of Nursing Scholarship Day!
