Jenny Vincent

Assistant Dean for Advancement

I am passionate about the power of a UW Nursing education to foster opportunity and improve healthcare for all. A Husky alumna myself, I believe strongly that a UW education can open doors and change lives.

As Associate Director for Advancement, I build philanthropic relationships with School of Nursing donors to raise critical support for Nursing students, research, and faculty. Before I joined the School of Nursing team, I worked in the nonprofit sector and later managed fundraising and outreach activities for the UW Department of Psychology. Connecting people with causes they care about drives my work every day; I feel fortunate to help Nursing donors and alumni change the world through their support of the School. Outside of work, you can be sure to find me cooking, being active outdoors, knitting, or reading.

Education:

Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, University of Washington

Certificate in Fundraising Management, University of Washington

What do you love about the UW School of Nursing?

The power of an education from such an esteemed institution as UW Nursing creates endless opportunities for both individuals and communities – nurses are counted on to provide life-changing patient care every single day. I am honored to act as a steward of the groundbreaking research and education that UW School of Nursing provides.
