Ignite Aging Symposium 2026

Join us for the UW School of Nursing de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging’s 9th annual Ignite Aging symposium! This year’s event feature talks and activities by community partners and UW School of Nursing researchers, focused on social connection.
Hear from members of the local community doing work with older adults, ranging from soundscapes, storytelling, supporting families, and dancing. Participate in interactive activities, connect with fellow attendees, and see the power of these topics to connect us at this symposium and beyond.
Western Institute of Nursing Conference
When: Tuesday, April 6, 2027 – Friday, April 9, 2027
Where: Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle’s Eastside
The Western Institute of Nursing’s 2027 conference will be hosted in Bellevue, Washington. Abstracts are due October 15. The center encourages UW School of Nursing faculty and students to consider presenting at the conference.
