Thank you to the approximately 90 people who joined us for Ignite Aging 2023 to hear about current work across the lifespan from UW School of Nursing faculty and students, listen to music and discuss Engaging with Aging. The room was full of discussion and energy, and each presenter got a standing ovation – our way to honor our speakers and get guests out of their chairs.

We are so grateful to the many people who contributed, including our faculty and student presenters, musicians and volunteers, as well as Doris Carnevali for donating the Engaging with Aging books and Era Living for donating lunches for the event.

We’re also pleased to share the illustrations below by PhD student and de Tornyay Center illustrator Lalipat Phianhasin.
