School of Nursing Impact Office

The Impact Office facilitates the discovery, intake, management, and completion of donor-funded projects and contracts for the School of Nursing, aiming to improve efficiency and maximize school-wide impact. It handles non-research-focused donor projects, including service agreements and gifts, that typically bypass the UW Office of Sponsored Projects.

Impact Projects

  • Benefit the entire School of Nursing
  • Advance community-level impacts
  • Align with the sponsor’s investment strategy
  • Offer support and flexibility for gifts, donor funded projects, and service agreements

About Us

In collaboration with the School of Nursing Leadership and Faculty, the Impact Office provides high-level administrative and operational support to service contracts, sponsor-funded projects, and internal initiatives. Housed in the Office for Nursing Research and Innovation, the Impact Office serves as a project management hub, partnering with Principal Investigators through the life-cycle of projects with a limited research focus.

The services of the Impact Office are fully funded by the projects the office supports at a current rate of $100/hour. The cost for Impact Office support will be built into the budgets of new proposals with transparency to the funder and faculty.
