Laura Frantz DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN

Since completing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington, I have worked  clinically as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in a community mental health clinic in the Seattle area. I work with a diverse population of adult clients with mental health and substance use disorders. I have enjoyed the opportunity to bridge my clinical work and teaching throughout my nursing career, from acting as a preceptor  for graduate and undergraduate students to teaching in the classroom. I am passionate about nursing education and strive to create a welcoming classroom with use of evidence based teaching strategies.
