Gail Johnson DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC

Senior Lecturer

I have 17 years of experience on faculty at the UW. I have taught a variety of courses in the FNP DNP program including Adult and Pediatric Health Assessment, Management of Common Health Concerns, Clinical Seminars for FNPs, Chronic Disease Management, and Community Health for the Clinician. I also co-direct the Exploration Seminar to Thailand.

I am a consultant to the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia for their NP licensing exam and NP Quality Assurance Program.

I have 27 years of experience as a nationally certified family nurse practitioner in a culturally diverse community clinic setting serving a medically underserved population, I am currently in practice and have clinical experience in family practice, pediatrics, women’s health, and asthma management/education. I also precept FNP students in my practice.
