Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing
I am a graduate of UW from both the schools of nursing and public health. I have been involved in teaching here in various capacities since 2005! Clinically my practice areas have been in pediatric primary care, with sub-specialties in sickle cell disease and pulmonary medicine. I have also had the pleasure of supporting the development and growth of school-based health centers, and services for unhoused youth. Through my work as a PNP I have traveled the world with an emphasis on African countries both providing medical care and developing programs.
As a leader, I have led both medical operations and medical practice, and am currently the regional medical director for a group of community health centers. I am a professional coach and love working with clinicians and leaders as they look for their next steps while working through the challenges.
