I graduated with my BSN/RN as a joint degree from Whitworth University and Washington State University and worked as an oncology staff RN in various inpatient hospital settings for several years. I earned my DNP-FNP from the University of Washington. Clinically, I have been an oncology nurse practitioner and preceptor for UW DNP students since 2015, and I have been teaching in the DNP program since 2017. I obtained my Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification in 2019.
