Profile
Prior to my current position, I worked from 2019 to 2023 in an integrated behavioral health setting at the Community Health center of Snohomish County. My first role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner took place from 2018 to 2019 at the Veteran’s Administration in Lakewood, WA where I provided outpatient and urgent care psychiatric services to our nation’s veterans. My nursing experience includes being a charge nurse at Swedish hospital from 2015-2018 in the psychiatric inpatient unit and working on a medical/surgical unit in Temple, Texas as a floor and charge nurse from 2013-2015. Prior teaching/research roles include practicing as a clinical instructor for BSN students from 2019-2020, I worked as a program development specialist for the UW school of nursing from 2022-2023 related to developing psychiatric trainings for primary care providers, and I worked as a research assistant for the School of Nursing from 2017-2020.
