Clinical Assistant Professor - Salaried
Biobehavioral Nursing & Health Informatics
Profile
My career has certainly been nontraditional, but a lifelong love of humanity and the natural world are prevailing themes. Prior to nursing school, my work as a professional biologist in remote wilderness areas and in capacities associated with industry has greatly informed my perspective in environmental, occupational and global health. Community service has included work with domestic violence, people with autism and learning disabilities, hunger, companion animals, and more. As a nurse, I cared for adults undergoing care for cancer; infants in intensive care; people with stroke and multiple complexities.
