Renee Cantarini is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She practices in primary care, promoting health with individuals and families of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Renee is a leader in integrating evidence into practice and improving the quality of healthcare. Her clinical interests include adolescent health, orthopedics, women’s health, and mental health, with a particular focus on concussions and evidence-based practice.
Renee has been passionate about teaching since entering the nursing profession and joined the School of Nursing in 2007. She teaches throughout the family practice track and in doctoral courses. Additionally, she is involved in course, curriculum, and doctoral program development. Her special interests include incorporating evidence-based teaching methods and simulation at the graduate level.
