Profile
My program of research is focused on understanding the biological and behavioral mechanisms of symptoms and patient centered outcomes in adults with cardiovascular disease, with a primary focus on atrial fibrillation and heart failure. I maintain advanced clinical practice as a cardiac electrophysiology nurse practitioner with the UW Division of Cardiology. My clinical experiences are the source of my passion and commitment to educate future nurses, nurse practitioners, and healthcare leaders and to conduct high quality clinical research that will help improve quality of life for adults with cardiovascular disease.
