Assistant Professor
My research sits at the intersection of early life stress, sleep, and infant mental health. I obtained my PhD in nursing science from the University of Washington and completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in omics and symptom science at the University of Washington. Currently, I am a K12 scholar in pediatric and reproductive environmental health and an affiliate of the Barnard Center for Infant Mental Health. My prior and ongoing research projects have included psychosocial stressors and sleep health among children involved with Child Welfare, psychosocial-by-environmental health stress interactions in relation to children’s sleep health, and how programs supporting parent-child relationships serve to buffer children from the consequences of stress.
