Profile
I have worked as an RN for 15 years across a variety of settings, including skilled/long term care, Neurology/neurosurgery and rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and medical/surgical. Since 1992, I have worked as a nurse practitioner with a team of physicians and nurse practitioners providing post-acute and primary care (long term care) to adult and older adults.
I serve on the UW Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Advisory Board as well as working on several CNE conference planning committees each year. I am a member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA), the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and the American Geriatrics Society (AGS).
