Globally 10 million people are infected with tuberculosis each year. Dr. Sarah Iribarren’s Tuberculosis Treatment Support Tool (TB-TST) supports treatment adherence and improves patient outcomes for individuals with TB in Argentina, Indonesia and the U.S.

TB-TST consists of two components: 1) a home-based drug metabolite test that measures whether treatment was taken, and 2) a patient and provider facing mobile application with services (e.g., reminders, chat function,…) that monitor and support the course of treatment.
