Student & program evaluations
The Master’s Degree Coordinating Committee (MCC) is responsible for program evaluation of the Seattle MS degree program. MCC works in conjunction with Student and Academic Services to assess student competency at entry into the program, end of the program, and specified intervals following graduation. Multiple sources of evaluation data are used, including that from students, faculty and graduates. MCC reviews data via an annual program evaluation report, assessing outcomes of students who complete the program against specific benchmarks, and when indicated, appoints work groups to address areas of desired curricular change.
The MS degree program is evaluated at time of completion by both the student and faculty using tools designed to measure specific outcomes related to MS Goals and major curricular threads. Graduates complete the Alumni Survey. The questionnaire will be sent to all MS graduates twice, once in the year after graduation and then again at 3 years post-graduation.
