Jess Jajesnica, DNP, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner offering transcranial magnetic stimulation and psychiatric medication management to a wide variety of clients (16+). Jess began her career in the Army Nurse Corps. She served for 11 years and was dedicated to treating the mental health needs of our nation’s soldiers and their family members. After resigning her commission, Jess spent over a decade working as an attending in an acute inpatient setting treating psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. She has been practicing transcranial magnetic stimulation since 2018. Jess has been ANCC board certified since 2004.
Jess provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy with special attention to individual needs. Her approach is one of patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations to facilitate treatment and a sense of comfort and trust. She is flexible and integrative in her approach in order to meet the needs and desired outcomes of each individual. Jess’ areas of interest and expertise include depression, anxiety and OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorders, thought disorders, and alcohol and substance abuse disorders. She is a Level 3 Reiki Master.
Jess brings a humanistic philosophy of holistic care for mind and body, and an abiding commitment to individualized, personalized, comprehensive care for clients, 16 and up. She believes in the mind/body/spiritual connection. Jess is enthusiastic to apply her 25 years of psychiatric experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address issues to help them improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment in their life journey.
Jess’ interests include her boys, paddle boarding, country music, football, kayaking, Peloton, yoga, meditation, baking, plants, and traveling.
