My research interests include dissemination and implementation science, specifically related to cancer survivorship quality of life issues and cancer survivorship rehabilitation.
I co-teach Health Promotion (NURS 552) for the PCH department and am the NP clinical placement coordinator for Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA. I specialize in program development and am the president of the EASE Cancer Foundation, based in Cashmere, WA. EASE stands for Exercise and Survivorship Education.
In addition to coordinating clinical rotations for NPs in Chelan and Okanogan Counties, I have a clinical practice at Confluence Health, where I work in oncology/hematology and provide outreach oncology services in Omak, WA. I am a graduate of the UW School of Nursing, and while obtaining my master’s degree, I served as the Principal Investigator of a research project funded by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, which investigated the effect of low to moderate intensity exercise on fatigue in breast cancer survivors.
