Faculty promotions

Azita Emami

I am pleased to announce that five faculty members have been promoted in recognition of their consistent excellence across the spectrum of research, teaching, and service that comprise our mission as UW School of Nursing educators.

Promotion is an earned honor, and recognition that each of these faculty members has garnered the respect of her colleagues, the Dean, and the University administration.

Those promoted recently are:

• Sarah Gimbel: Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, Family and Child Nursing
• Pamela Kohler: Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, Psychosocial and Community Health
• Kerryn Reding: Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics
• Amy Walker: Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, Family and Child Nursing
• Teresa Ward: Associate Professor to Professor, Family and Child Nursing
