UW Ranked #1 Among Public Nursing Schools

The UW School of Nursing has been named a leading educator of nurses among public colleges/universities offering graduate programs by US News & World Report. The school was ranked #1 among public institutions with Doctor of Nursing Practice programs (#3 overall) and tied for #1 among public schools with master’s degree programs (tied for #6 overall).  This latter ranking is specific to UW Bothell and UW Tacoma.

While rankings are not totally reflective of our excellence, I am incredibly proud of the hard work of our faculty and staff, and the commitment of all three schools in educating future nurses who serve not only their patients but also the profession and the entire health care community,” said Azita Emami, Executive Dean, UW School of Nursing.

These rankings place the nursing schools at the UW Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma campuses at the top of almost 600 accredited nursing schools with master’s and/or doctoral programs in the nation.
