New Office of Technology, Learning, and Innovation Created

Frank Barber, Assistant Dean of Technology, Learning, and Innovation of Office of Technology, Learning, and Innovation

The dean of the UW School of Nursing, Azita Emami, announced that the School is integrating Continuing Nursing Education, the Nursing Simulation Center and the Learning and Innovation Technologies under one office to be titled the Office of Technology, Learning, and Innovation.

Emami has appointed Frank Barber to Assistant Dean of Technology, Learning, and Innovation of the new Office, effective Wednesday, September 12, 2018. “I have been extremely impressed with Frank Barber’s leadership over the past several years. He has demonstrated an ability to work collaboratively with our faculty and students and has provided visionary guidance for the School’s technological and innovative needs,” said Emami.
