What is your research/areas of interest? Family Practice, Women’s health, Public Health

Why did you choose nursing? My father was a South Vietnamese refugee and was helped by medicine, social services, and career development. I wanted to serve others to pay it forward.

What has been an unforgettable experience during your time at the School of Nursing? Having an opportunity to learn about health policy. It was further reinforced during legislative day.

How has your experience at the School of Nursing helped you with your career trajectory? I can see that I’m getting a stellar education and feel confident that I’ll be prepared as a doctorally prepared FNP.

What are your plans after graduation? Hopefully providing care in a family practice setting here in the Puget Sound.
