Conversations for Health Equity
Join us for a day of dialogue with community leaders and social justice advocates. The event is presented by the UW School of Nursing, the UW School of Medicine Center for Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (CEDI) and the UW School of Public Health.

Event highlights
The event includes:
- Presentations by Washington Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu and Dr. Ben Danielson, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic medical director.
- Talks about promoting health equity, coalition building and current topics affecting healthcare.
- Self-care activities, including guided meditation and stress-reduction projects.

| 7 p.m. | Participants are encouraged to attend the talk by Kathleen Neal Cleaver, former Communications Secretary of the Black Panthers, at the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center.
