He will join our school’s executive leadership team and re-join the Department of Psychosocial and Community Health as professor, where he spent the first seven years of his academic career.
Dr. de Castro’s appointment will be effective Sept. 16, 2017.
“I am very excited to work with Dr. de Castro to advance DEI in everything we do throughout our school,” said Dr. Azita Emami, Robert G. and Jean A. Reid Endowed Dean at the UW School of Nursing. “His scholarship, teaching and leadership collectively reflect a strong focus and passion in DEI.”
