Faculty updates
Hilaire Thompson, biobehavioral nursing and health informatics, was interviewed by KING-5’s Lili Tan for a segment about her research in preventing falls in older adults.
Linda Eaton, biobehavioral nursing and health informatics, was featured in Seattle Metropolitan’s “Perfect Party” section for her work in using hypnosis for pain management.
Anita Souza, psychosocial and community health, received the ITHS Academic/Community Partnership Research Award for her project “Assessing Support and Priorities (ASAP) for Homeless Older Adults.”
Staff updates
Liz Hunter-Keller, marketing and communications, was honored by the UW Communication Leadership graduate program and the Center for Women and Democracy for her role organizing the Seattle Womxn’s March
