This training will discuss roles, responsibilities, and best practices for monitoring financial and research performance of subcontracts. Using case studies to explore the possible challenges which may occur during subcontract monitoring, we will discuss ways to troubleshoot performance problems. The Nuts & Bolts of Administering Outgoing Subcontracts
This training will review the outgoing subcontracts process from initiation to close out involving the UW PI's department, OSP and Payables. Staff from the central offices will discuss the triggers that move your subcontracts through the process and answer any questions.
