Nurses Recognition Banquet 2012The Nurses Recognition Banquet is designed to honor our community’s outstanding nurses and nursing leaders. Since 1980 the School of Nursing has presented a Distinguished Alumni Award to an outstanding graduate. In 2004, three new awards were added to expand our partnership with the greater nursing community. This celebration acknowledges the many ways the profession of nursing improves health and touches lives.

Again this year, we are holding the Nurses Recognition Banquet in conjunction with our annual Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Lecture. Established in 1979, the Soule Endowed Lecture honors the founding dean of the UW School of Nursing. The annual presentation features prominent nursing and health care leaders and is supported through the Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Fund.
