Hi! I’m Taylor and I am from the Midwest. I received my BSN from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Go Tigers!!). The populations I am most interested in working with is Maternal/Child and NICU. I moved to Seattle about a year ago to pursue further education in community health nursing.
Community/Public Health is where I found my niche in nursing and therefore am pursuing my Masters in the field. I am interested in the root causes of health problems and the interventions that can prevent them. Furthermore, I am interested in promoting equity and improving wellness amongst disadvantaged, underserved populations.
Outside of nursing, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and hiking. I also love animals. I have a chocolate lab named Angus and I soon plan to start volunteering at a local animal shelter.
