Nurses' Health Study Recruiting Female Nursing Students

For the first time in its history, the Nurses' Health Study is recruiting female nursing students for its "next generation," NHS3 (www.nhs3.org).

Researchers at Harvard School of Public Health lowered the eligibility age to 20 and broadened the geographic scope to all of the US and Canada to engage a younger, highly diverse group of women from whom we can learn about the health effects of early lifestyle. NHS3 will also explore important new issues like environment, fertility, hormonal preparations, adolescent diet, and occupational exposures.

NHS3 is open to LPNs, RNs, and nursing students age 20-46 living in the US or Canada and recruitment will stay open until the goal of 100,000 participants is reached.

The study takes place completely online. Participants can join and complete the study's surveys through a secure  website.

A downloadable recruitment flyer is available on the site (http://www.nhs3.org/index.php/tell-others).
