Recommendations for new clinical faculty appointments come from current PCH faculty members to the Acting Chairperson of PCH, Karen Schepp, PhD, APRN, BC, FAAN. If you are seeking faculty appointment, you are encouraged to approach a current member of the faculty for a letter of nomination.
Candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and/or community service are sent a letter of invitation to apply for a clinical faculty appointment. The appointment process includes:
- submission of a letter of request to Karen Schepp, Acting Chairperson, indicating clinical interest as well as availability to precept
- completed mentorship
- personal data
- biography
- conviction/criminal history
- Washington State Patrol criminal history
- affirmative action data (voluntary/optional)
- current CV
- evidence of professional license/certification
