About the MN

The Master of Nursing Program provides the opportunity for advanced study in selected areas of nursing science, professional foundations, related sciences and modes of systematic inquiry related to advanced and specialized professional nursing practice.

MN Degree Specialty

Additional advanced practice specialty options are available at the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree level.

Master of Nursing/Master of Public Health Concurrent Degree Program

Students interested in the fields of advanced nursing and public health may be interested in pursuing our concurrent Master of Nursing/Master of Public Health degree.

Program Accreditation

The master's degree in nursing at the University of Washington is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation).
