Tickets for Convocation

The SoN Convocation and Award Ceremony is Friday, June 8, 2012. It begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 11:00am. Meany Theater seats 1,200 people; we expect about 250 graduates and their guests. The first rows will be reserved for graduating students. All seats in the theater have an excellent view of the stage, and seating is not assigned. We cannot accommodate strollers in the auditorium. Because of limited space, priority is given to wheelchair-bound guests.

Each student will receive up to three (3) tickets due to the available seating capacity. Graduates do not need a ticket for themselves. If you have tickets that you don't intend to use, please return them to the front desk in Academic Services. We will distribute them to students in need.

Convocation Tickets

If you are in need of Convocation tickets, please indicate in the form below. Additional tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis, up to four (4) tickets per student. You will be contacted by email if any additional tickets become available to you.

Tickets will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, May 29th until Friday, June 1st. Students will be able to pick them up at the front desk in T-301.  

Please submit your request by Friday, May 25th to ensure that you receive tickets.

Every student who registers for Convocation through the UW Commencement site is allotted three (3) tickets for guests. Please be mindful of other students and their families and request only as many tickets as you need.
Student may request up to four (4) additional tickets, if needed. However, we cannot guarantee that these requests will be met. You will be notified by email if we are able to fulfill your request.
My group will require disability seating due to difficulty walking great distances. I have contacted Stephanie Kirschner in Academic Services (stann@uw.edu) to alert her of this need.
