UW Nurse Camp is run by the SoN Diversity Awareness Group, a registered student organization. In order to run UW Nurse Camp, we depend on contributions made by individuals, organizations, community groups and local restaurants. If you would like to make a contribution to UW Nurse Camp, please follow this link.
It takes approximately $250 per student for the entire week of UW Nurse Camp activities. This includes a nutritious breakfast, lunch, snacks, and related supplies such as scrub tops, t-shirts for the volunteers, notebooks, pens, and metro bus tickets so campers can get to and from campus to attend camp. Through the generosity of contributors, we are able to keep this camp free of charge for participants. Please consider making a donation to UW Nurse Camp. A little goes a long way!
- $250 sponsors 1 camper for the entire week
- $50 sponsors 1 camper for 1 day of the 5-day camp
We had over 100 high school students apply from all over WA State. Because we depend on donations to run the program, we were only able to admit 26.
Your donation is tax deductible! Once you make a donation we will post your name and/or organization on the UW Nurse Camp website recognizing you as a sponsor and a thank you letter with the UW SoN DAwGs tax ID number will be sent to you. Be sure to include your mailing address so we can send you our thanks!
